I love this little painting. I know it’s an unusual subject.. but the point is, that there is beauty everywhere! I love the dark iridescence of the fly’s body, and the feathers I found in one of my favourite gardening places of work; the flash of yellow highlights on them made them glow in the dewy grass that morning.
