This scene from my morning walk to Cowes, is on an overcast day, which makes the water seem even clearer than usual – I can see through the surface to the sand beneath. I love the blending colours, and the undulating patterns of the wavelets, rippling and repeating, calming my thoughts. This piece is a lovely little object, the painting is done on quality archival board, and the image is just 17.5 x 12.5cm. The surface is protected with a clear, matt, archival varnish. It is mounted as you see, on white board and protected by a natural Tasmanian Oak frame, of 21.5 x 18.2cm, and 3cm deep, no glass needed. It is ready to hang.
